This is Ken's 15th year in pro ball. He started in the minors in 1938 and after a 15-11 record at Norfolk in '41 and 17-10 at Newark in '44, he came up with the Yankees in 1945 to win 3 and lose 3. Sent down in 1946, Ken got a trial in 1948 with the Reds, but didn't stick. In 1949 at Sacramento, he won 19 games, struck out 108 and had a 2.85 Earned Run Average. The White Sox brought him up in 1950 and he's made the grade.



One of the most valuable members of the New York Yankees, as he can play either at third base or shortstop. Came to Yankees in 1932 from the San Francisco team in the Pacific Coast League, where he walloped .343 in 183 games, hitting 5 home runs and stealing 23 bases. Crosetti was born in San Francisco, October 4, 1910. After starring in independent baseball circles, he signed with the San Francisco Club in 1928. Played with them until secured by the Yankees. Is 5 feet, 1034 inches tall, 160 pounds; bata right handed.



"Red" had 2 trials with the White Sox prior to 1953. He's been in pro ball since 1950 when he hit .319 for Waterloo of the Three-l League. The next season with Memphis, Bob again topped the .300 mark with a .327 Average in 82 games. At Wisconsin University (he graduated in 1950) Bob was an all-around athlete and was voted the Most Valuable Player in the Western Conference in '49.
