While some of the 1909 T206 Set card backs represent different brands, the layout for some was shared by more than one brand (i.e. Broadleaf and Drum).



Dick worked often for the St. Louis Browns in 1953. He went to the mound 36 times, starting 22 games. He won 7 and lost 12. He began pitching amateur ball in Detroit, both before and after service in the Navy. The Red Sox had a scout spot him on the sandlots. They signed him and he was sent to Oneonta. In 1949 with Scranton, he was in 31 games, winning 12 and losing 8. He struck out 133 men in 180 innings. He's also a good amateur hockey player.



In high school Steve was named to All-Calif. Interscholastic Federation baseball team, 1961-63 & All-CIF football team, 1961-62. Captained baseball & football teams as a senior, hit .620 and was baseball team's MVP. A graduate of Stanford Univ., was MVP as a freshman, named to All-Calif. Intercollegiate Baseball Assn. 2nd team in 1965.
