Joe has all the credentials to become one of the best second-sackers in the majors. He was the "Most Valuable Player" in the Texas League in 1964. Previously, in 1963, Joe was an All-Star when he played for Durham. Joe had a fine rookie season and is confident that he will escape the sophomore jinx in 1966.
