Drew was at his best in May with a seven-inning outing where he allowed only two hits with no walks and seven Ks vs. the Yankees. One of his best offerings is a back-door sweeper.

Won 21, while losing 8, in 1950. Percentage (.724) was best in League. Earned run average, 3.99. Starred in World Series. Has had 3 com- plete seasons with Yankees- 1948, 1949, 1950. Won 19 games in 1948 and 21 in 1949. Had two flings with team before 1948, but divided time between majors and minors. Really hit his stride on joining majors to stick. Spent 3 years in service.

The slender righthander led the Texas League with an earned run average of 2.18 in 1965. Promoted to Tacoma, Chuck was again under the 3.00 mark in E.R.A. despite being handicapped by arm trouble. With two years of impressive pitching behind him, the righty was elevated to the Cubs roster in '67. Chuck's stuff quickly won him an important position in Leo Durocher's bullpen. In the 45 games that he appeared in, Chuck won nine and was credited with eight "saves."
