Dusty saw only limited action last year as the Giants shifted their outfield around in an attempt to find a winning combination. A powerful swing-from-the-heels type of batter, Dusty can sock 'em out of the park when a run is most needed. In the '54 Series he won 3 games against the Indians by belting 2 homers and ringing up a nifty .667 mark.

Gave up 36 bases on balls. Joined the Cubs for 5 games. Had no wins. Charged with 1 loss. Divided 1949 between the Cubs and Shreveport. In 30 games for Chicago, winning 5, losing 8.
Dale tried out as a left-handed catcher - it didn't work. We went to the minors and had 3 good seasons. With Pittsburgh in '55 we tied for most triples (13) in the N.L,
