He's better known for his defense, but on April 18, 2021, at Wrigley Field, Guillermo homered twice and became the first Braves player of the modern era with six RBI from the number eight spot of the order.

Eddie is one of baseball's real veterans. The bespectacled infielder appeared in 146 games for the Athletics in 1952, batting .244. Had 20 homers among his hits. He's been in baseball since 1933. First came to the majors at the end of the 1936 season with the Reds. He also played for the Boston Braves. He's been with the A's since 1947. He's a crackerjack fielder and holds many records for fielding.

Spud Davis is a veteran catcher with 12 years of major league duty behind him. Always a dangerous hitter, Davis is also a steady catcher. His major career goes back to 1928, when he played first with the Cardinals and later with the Phillies. He was with the Phils until 1934, when he was traded back to the Cardinals. Cincinnati got him in 1937 but he was sent back to the Phillies in mid-season of 1938 in the trade that brought Bucky Walters to the Reds. The Phils sold him to Pittsburgh in October last year. Davis' major league batting average is a neat .309 and his lifetime fielding mark .985. He did not make a single error behind the plate for the Phils last year.
