Frank has always hit well when he has been given the chance to play regularly. In fact, before the Twins re-called him from Denver, Frank was leading the P.C.L. with a .369 batting average. During his minor league career, the outfielder has hit better than .300 for 8 different clubs.
Addison Foster Brennan, pitcher of the Chicago Federal League team, was born in Laharpe, Kan., July 18, 1887. His professional career began in 1907, when he secured a position with the Springfield, Mo., Club. He was drafted by the Kansas City American Association Club in 1908, but was sent to Wichita the same season. He joined the Philadelphia Nationals in 1910, and remained with that club until the fall of 1913, when he signed with the Chicago Federals.
Larry is a young power hitter. He got into 42 games for the Cardinals in 1952, had 22 hits, including 2 home runs. With Houston of the Texas League in 1951 he hit 27 home runs and batted in 108 runs, on a .260 average. He began in pro ball in 1943, but entered service before he got in a game. Started as a third baseman but switched to the outfield in 1947.
