Name that player!

Hank promised himself that 1954 would be his best Major League season to date. Always a gentleman, he kept his promise and delighted Cub fans by belting more Homers and posting a higher Batting Average than ever before! Hank also had a great year in '52, winning the R.B.I. Title and tying for Home Run honors with 37, to win the National League's Most Valuable Player Award.

Not only is "Lindy" tops on the mound, but at bat too. In '44 as a Yankee outfielder, he tied a Major League Mark by hitting 4 Doubles in 1 game. Starting off as a pitcher in '36, he came up to the Yanks after winning 18 and 23 at Kansas City and Newark in 1940-41. Switched to the outfield, he hit .300 and .317 in 1944-48 and pitched again in 1950.

Matt was a 1st-round draft pick out of Seton Hall in 1995 who required less than 2 of Minor League seasoning before becoming a fixture in the St. Louis rotation. His 22 wins in 2001 led the National League and helped Morris finish 3rd in the Cy Young Award voting. He has posted a winning record and 11-plus victories for 5 consecutive seasons.
