The 1916 Sporting News M101-4 set features stars such as Eddie Collins (#24), Charles Comiskey (#36), Ty Cobb (#38), Sam Crawford (#41), Joe Jackson (#87), Hugh Jennings (#90), Walter Johnson (#91), Babe Ruth (#151), Joe Tinker (#174) and Honus Wagner (#182).



Per usual, Giambi put up huge home run, RBI and walk totals in 2003. From 1999 through '02, this consummate pro topped .310, 30 homers and 100 runs, ribbies and walks each year. After winning the AL MVP Award in '00 (with Oakland), he finished second in the voting in '01 and fifth in '02.



Became a regular with Indians in 1938 after two years in minors, and excepting 1945 when he was. in service, has been their third baseman ever since. A top fielding third baseman, he holds many records. Last season was one of his best at bat when he hit .297 in 153 games. He hit 31 homers. His best major league average was .325 in 1939. Has been on seven All-Star teams.
