Last year, Randy was the 20th man in history with 40 2Bs, 20 HRs and 30 SBS in a season. "On a given night, he could be the most talented player on the field," Rays manager Kevin Cash lauds. "Speed, athleticism, power, excitement, the energy he brings. He's a special, special player for our game...the type of player that fans come to the ballpark to see."



Robert H. Bescher, outfielder of the New York National League Club, was born at London, Ohio, in 1885. His professional experience began with the Lima Club, in 1906. The next two years he played with Dayton, of the Central League, and joined Cincinnati Nationals in the fall of 1908. He became a wonderful base runner, and was traded to New York Nationals in December, 1913.



No shortstop can match Xander's offensive body of work since 2018- a period over which his numbers top the board in nearly every key category. He's now played the second-most Red Sox games ever at the position.
