The flame-throwing right-hander struck out 44% of the batters he faced at Double-A Biloxi ahead of his July 2023 call to Milwaukee. On August 23, he uncorked a 103.3-mph dart-the fastest tracked pitch in team lore.



Often called to put out a fire, Cal responded extremely well for the New York Mets last season. He racked up eight saves while notching five victories. Control is Cal's strength.
