For the last two years, Mike has been one of the top batters in the International League. He opened the 1968 campaign as the Yankees' regular 3rd baseman. Mike has a fine glove!



Spent 11 years in majors, 8 of them with Cincinnati Reds - then was traded to Phillies. In 1947 he signed with Boston Braves and batted .333 in 96 games. Last season he hit .250 in 75 games. In 1940 he was voted National League's Most Valuable Player. At end of 1948 season, he accepted a job managing Quebec team in Canadian-American League.



The 26 year old outfielder joined the Athletics before the begin- ning of the '65 season in a three club deal which involved 7 men. Mike was a real workhorse in his premier campaign as he appeared in 150 games, tops in the club. Has good speed and a fine glove.
