Name that player!

A rarity in today's free-swinging game, Luis is a barrel-to-ball maestro. His .313 AVG leads active players (800+ ABs), and his SO/BB is virtually 1-to-1. In a pair of 2021 contests, he reached base five times.

Hank is one of the American League's better outfielders. Appeared in 114 games for the Yankees in 1954, hitting a good .294. He had 111 hits for a total of 173 bases, including 16 doubles, 5 triples and 12 homers. Batted in 54 runs and scored 73. Began in organized ball in 1941, coming to the majors at the end of the 1949 season from Kansas City. In 1952 Hank tied a major league record by getting two hits in an inning. He did some pitching in his first year, but gave it up in favor of the outfield.

First pitcher in the American League to wear spectacles. Joined the Boston Red Sox in 1926 from the independent ranks. Won a regular place right away. Traded to New York last Summer. Won 9 games and lost 15 pitching for Boston and New York. Before entering independent ball, pitched for Somerville High School and was undefeated for two years. Struck out 33 men in a 12 inning game and allowed only 4 hits. Hails from Somerville, Mass. Is 27 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds. Bats and throws right handed.
