The White Sox outfielder was a busy rookie last season as he nailed down a regular job in Comiskey Park. Speedy and a good fielder, Ken led three minor leagues in putouts in '61, '63 and '64.

The Indians gave up Bob Chance and Woody Held for Chuck Hinton in Dec. 1964. Chuck has played all 4 infield positions in the minors.

Bob "Cherokee" Johnson reached his greatest heights as a major league outfielder last year. One of the fastest, most consistent players in the league. Johnson finished brilliant season third in batting with a mark of .338, and third in runs-batted-in with 114. He collected 23 home runs, stole 15 bases and scored 115 times himself on his 184 hits. Johnson, who is proud of his Indian descent, has not failed to drive in 100 runs or more in the past five seasons, and now in his eighth season with the A's, boasts a lifetime batting mark of over .300.
