"Peanuts" had a good season with the Cards in '52. He's one of the most versatile men in the League... capable of playing the infield and the outfield. His career dates back to '37 when he broke in with Moline. He hit .292 for the Cubs in '43, his 1st season in the majors. He was traded from the Cubs to the Reds in '49 and was released to the Cards in '50. Harry hit .310 in the '45 World Series and played in the '46 All-Star game.
Many of the images used on cards in the 1909 T206 Set were also used in other baseball card sets.
Bruce Dal Canton: Bruce has won three games for the Pirates in late season appearances in 1967 and 1968. The 25 year old righthander stands 6'2" and weighs 205 pounds. Bob Robertson: Bob spent 1968 on the injured list and did not get into a ballgame. The tall first sacker has good power. He smashed 32 home runs for Gastonia in '65 & 32 more for Asheville in 1966.
