"Billy the Bull" began the 1951 campaign with the Yankees. After appearing in 15 games for them, he was sent to the Cards. In 124 games for the Birds, batting .262. Had 14 homers. Drove in 64 runs. Began in baseball in 1936. In minors until 1943. Joined Yanks at that time.
