Name that player!

One of the "old" men of baseball. Since 1947 was one of his best seasons it shows what a fellow can do if he takes care of himself. Experience and ability are an unbeatable combination. He's had his ups and downs, being sent back to the minors. He fought his way back in two years. Originally a Dodger, he came back from the minors to spend nine years with the Senators.

This curveballing southpaw came on strong last season as he won three of his last four decisions. Previously in the bullpen, Barry had three saves.

One of the hustlingest players in baseball. "Country" just doesn't know how to let down. Batted .290 in 148 games in 1950 (tenth active season with the Cardinals). In 1949 Enos had one of his best seasons. His .336 average was third best in the League, and accounted for 34 doubles, 13 triples. 13 homers. He has been on 6 All-Star teams. Led Cardinals in runs batted in, 1946. In service 3 seasons.
