Name that player!

After spending the first three years of his NHL career with the Sabres, Boughner was one of the selections in the June '98 expansion draft and spent '98-99 as one of the original members of the Nashville squad. With his physical presence on the back line and his toughness, which resulted in his fourth straight season with at least 100 penalty minutes, he looks to be a valuable member of the team for years to come.

McDonagh made his debut for the Nashville Predators on Oct. 7, 2022, as part of the NHL Global Series in Prague. The veteran blueliner made an immediate impact, recording a first-period assist in a 4-1 win over San Jose.

Dunham proved to be exactly what Nashville needed between the pipes during its inaugural season. The Predators netminder finished with 16 victories and a 3.08 goals against average. Even better was his save percentage, which at .908 placed him right in the middle of the pack. The reason that's noteworthy is that he did it with an expansion club, which should mean that improvement should be coming this go-round. Thus, Dunham figures to be Nashville's No. I goalie again this season.

Martin Erat
A native of Trebic, Czech Republic, Martin scored 56 goals and 109 points in 81 games on the ZPS Zlin-Jr. squad before coming to North America in 1999 to play for Saskatoon (WHL). After two years in Canadian juniors, he earned a spot on the Predators' 2001-02 opening night roster and clicked immediately with Vladimir Orszagh and Denis Arkhipov. Erat notched his first NHL point on October 11, 2001, when he (and Arkhipov) set up Orszagh's GWG in a dramatic 1-0 victory over a tough Calgary squad.
