Name that player!

Led all NHL rookies in scoring last year, outpacing nearest rival by 20 points. He has breakaway speed and a full range of dazzling moves. Teamed with Yzerman on power play.

Bruce is in his seventh season with the Red Wings and along with Delvecchio and Ullman gives Detroit one of the strongest teams at centre ice in the N.H.L. As any coach will tell you, you must have great centres for a great team.

Once before, the NHL had a brilliant center of French extraction whose nickname was "Pit" and that was Pit Lepine of the Canadiens. The Red Wing youngster's given first name is Hubert, but it's seldom used. Pit showed great promise as a rookie last season.
