Name that player!

A stalwart on the young and improving Sabres' defense, Richie has impressed club's coaching staff. He has earned a spot on the Sabres power-play unit.

The Russian-born right winger has worked hard at improving his game, even now as an established force in the Sabres lineup. Afinogenov has polished his passing game and it has resulted in a big boost in his assist totals for the 2005-06 season, setting a new career high thanks to nights like 03/25/06 against Boston when he collected three helpers against the Bruins.

One of the few West Germans in the NHL, Uwe played in his first NHL game (vs Montreal) just 2 hours after receiving clearance.
