Name that player!

A native of Syracuse, N.Y., who grew up rooting for the Sabres, Tuch was the most established player Buffalo received when it dealt former captain Jack Eichel to Vegas on Nov. 4, 2021, along with former first-round pick Peyton Krebs. In his first game with Buffalo, Tuch set up a second-period goal in a battle with the visiting New Jersey Devils.

Eichel led Buffalo in goals and finished among NHL rookies in points, behind Calder Trophy-winner Artemi Panarin, in 2015-16. He became the youngest Sabre to score his first career goal on Oct. 8, 2015.

One of the few West Germans in the NHL, Uwe played in his first NHL game (vs Montreal) just 2 hours after receiving clearance.
