A tower of strength on his team, the Leaf captain was out with a shoulder injury for part of last season. Missing 27 games, he nevertheless stood well up in the NHL scoring race. He stands eighth in lifetime scoring and points among active NHL players.

Bobby ranks as one of NHL's top body checkers. Baun's sudden-death goal in spring of '64, despite a bone break, helped Leafs score third straight Stanley Cup triumph.

This past season was a big one for Harry, as he was again selected to the All-star team, was runner-up for the Hart trophy, and only. lost the Vezina trophy by a single goal. His cage wizardry held the Leafs together most of the season and was largely responsible for their 3rd place standing. Harry now has 30 shutouts in 3 years with Leafs, and a total of 61 in 11 years of NHL warfare.
