Muhsin, with more than 50 catches in each of the past five years, is one of only three players remaining from Carolina's 1996 team that went to the NFC title game. He is a superior blocker for a receiver, and he has emerged as a team leader.

Brown's impact extends far beyond the box score. The defensive tackle fits Carolina's system perfectly, setting up teammates to shine. Since joining the squad, the disruptive defender has built a reputation for clogging gaps and freeing up stud pass-rusher Brian Burns by drawing double-teams.

Legette had himself a day against Mississippi State's defense on Sept. 23, 2023. Opening the scoring, the receiver took a pass from Spencer Rattler 76 yards to the house in the first quarter. He added a 75-yard scoring strike on the first play after halftime, paving the way for South Carolina's 37-30 win.

Julius Peppers
Julius, a two-sport star in high school and college, has given up basketball to concentrate on football with the Panthers. The results were impressive, as he earned 2002 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors despite missing four games. "I think after one year he is the best I have seen," said Jack Del Rio, Panthers defensive coordinator last year about the lifelong North Carolinian. "He came in and had as big an impact in all aspects of the game in one year - he was a dominant force."
