Patriots Card of the Day

Drew Bledsoe
Looking to improve on recent disappointing seasons, the Patriots took a step in the right direction when they selected Bledsoe with the first overall choice in the 1993 NFL draft. The 6-foot, 5-inch strong-armed quarterback excels as a dropback passer. As a junior at Washington State in 1992, he was named the PAC-10's offensive player of the year and earned first-team all-conference honors.

Name that player!

Amendola has a knack for shining brightest in big games. Catching a touchdown in the Patriots' Super Bowl XLIX victory over the Seahawks, the receiver was at it again against the Falcons in SB LI. He finished the contest with eight catches, 78 receiving yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion during New England's 34-28 win.

The Patriots know they are getting a good one in Hooper in 2024. Coming off a single season with the Raiders, the big, bruising tight end boasts a receiver's touch with his catching ability a trait that made him a two-time Pro Bowl pick when he played for Atlanta (2018, 2019).

Corey - who was slowed by a groin injury in '03 - owns a long and impressive resume that includes virtually every rushing record in Bengals annals, including a 278-yard game in '00 He also became just the fourth running back in NFL history to rush for over 1,000 yards in each of his first six seasons. Corey yearns to come back stronger than ever and become the starting back for the Patriots in '04.
