Ravens Card of the Day

Ray Lewis
Lewis was always in line for a massive performance. The Hall of Fame linebacker won the AFC Defensive Player of the Week Award eight times, including during the first game of his career (Week 1 of 1996). In that contest he made seven tackles and intercepted a pass during a 19-14 win over Oakland.

Name that player!

Jermaine will go to great lengths to get the job done on the field - exceptionally great lengths. He has scored 10 touchdowns over the last two seasons, eight of them covering 35 yards or more. The average distance on those eight scores is 50.4 yards! Lewis became the Baltimore Ravens' all-time leader in touchdowns when he passed Michael Jackson and Derrick Alexander with a pair of scores in a 41-14 victory against the Titans on December 5.

Baltimore wanted to add a quick-footed ball-carrier to complement superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson. It found Ingram, an uber-agile tailback who breaks down opponents with a shifty set of moves. In 2019, he topped 1,000 rushing yards for the third time in his career.

Head coach John Harbaugh says Joe is "kind of Baltimore," extolling his quarterback's uncomplaining toughness and bottom-line mentality. Flacco has never missed a game; his 44 regular-season wins are an NFL record for a QB's first four years, and he's the only one ever to make the playoffs each of those seasons.
