Name that player!

Sound tight ends can fill a variety of roles, from blocking to pass-catching to lining up as slot receivers and wingbacks. So a fine all-around athlete like James, a former quarterback and defensive standout who played three years of pro baseball in the White Sox farm system, is an invaluable weapon.

Schultz took advantage of having Jason Witten as a mentor in Dallas. "It was probably the best thing that could have happened to me," Schultz said. "I've learned so much, like my film study habits are literally just straight from him." The good habits now pay off in the form of key plays for the Texans.

Cunningham led the NFL in tackles in 2020. The Texans know why. "He finds the ball. He's aggressive. He plays with physical power that you just don't see," defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver said. Ask any team on the Houston schedule. They felt the veteran linebacker's power snap after snap.

J.J. Watt
A monster on the line, Watt led the NFL with an eye-popping 20.5 sacks while knocking down 16 passes at the line in 2012. His ability to bat down balls earned him a nickname among the Houston faithful: "J.J. Swatt." He was named Defensive Player of the Year, missing a perfect ballot by just one vote.
