Name that player!

Bogged down by knee problems, Howard was finally able to cut loose last season as he flashed the form that made him an All-American in college. The strong end has fine moves, a good pair of hands and is a tough competitor.

For what it's worth, Waddle didn't need the extra game (the NFL went to a 17-game schedule in 2021) to establish a league record for catches by a rookie. He should take extra pride in having amassed 104 receptions in 16 games and topping the mark (101) set by Arizona's Anquan Boldin in 2003.

The Dolphins dealt for Earl after the 1966 season had begun. The powerful veteran is big and fast and plays a tough game of football. Earl has the respect of his teammates and the opposition in the AFL.
