Name that player!

The AFC's second leading rusher in 1972, Larry set new Dolphin rushing record for 2nd consecutive season. Also a fine receiver, caught 21 passes in '69.

Larry was the AFC's 2nd leading rusher in 1971. He was one of only 5 in the NFL to top the 1000-yard plateau and his 5.4-yard average per carry was the best in both conferences. He also caught 13 passes for 113 yards and an 8.7 average, his longest going for 25 yards.

For what it's worth, Waddle didn't need the extra game (the NFL went to a 17-game schedule in 2021) to establish a league record for catches by a rookie. He should take extra pride in having amassed 104 receptions in 16 games and topping the mark (101) set by Arizona's Anquan Boldin in 2003.
