Respected in Texas Tech's locker room, Ezukanma stood as one of three freshmen named a captain in 2019. Marino's fourth completed pass of Miami's Week 6 game against Indianapolis was the 3,687th completion of his career, breaking Fran Tarkenton's record and making Dan the league's all-time completion king. 33 of those completions came in Week 5, when Marino threw for 450 yards in the Dolphins' 26-23 win over Cincinnati, The 450 passing yards represented the fourth-best effort of Marino's career.

Gore's career arc made a mockery of the notion that running backs decline early. He simply got better as time wore on. Playing with the Dolphins in 2018, the five-time Pro Bowl pick averaged 4.6 yards per carry - at age 35. The nine-time 1,000-yard rusher compiled 722 yards over 14 games that season.
