Name that player!

Look for this strong fullback to make a comeback in 1969. Bill was a leading rusher for the Steelers in '66 and '67. In '66, Bill topped Pittsburgh with 544 yards and finished 2nd on the club in '67. In 1967, his 73 yard run vs. the Bears was the longest from scrimmage in the NFL.

Bill was acquired from Atlanta who had drafted him 4th in '65. He moved in as the starting FB and was the Steelers' top rusher with 544 yards and 7 TDs. He had 19 grabs for 228 yards and 2 TDs. He is also a fine blocking back.

Rock-ribbed Ernie is one of the outstanding veterans of the pro wars. He can dish out and take plenty of punishment and is one of the most durable men in the game.

Back to the Front! Steelers card back du jour...

Najee Harris
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin had a pretty straightforward assessment of Harris after the Steelers drafted him in 2021 "He's a complete back. He was spot-on. Harris did it all as a rookie, running for 1,200 yards, making 74 receptions and leading all NFL first-year players with 1,667 yards from scrimmage.
