Fran was traded to the Vikings at the end of 1971 after being NFC's 8th leading passer last year. His longest play from scrimmage was an 81-yd. touchdown pass to Rich Houston.



Detroit's No. 10 draft in '60, Grady beat out 4 vets to land a spot on the squad. The Vikings got him from NFL vets' pool. He was All-Catholic All-American in '59.



The Vikings put Qadry's speed to use as both a receiver (19 catches, including one touchdown) and a kickoff returner (21.5 yard average on 42 returns) in 1993.

Carl Eller
A participant in 6 Pro Bowl Games, Carl has been selected for All-Pro recognition 6 times. The winner of the George Halas Award in 1971 as the NFL's Best Defensive Player, he caused 6 opponents' fumbles during the 1974 season. Carl was an All-American at Minnesota where he was a two-way starter. He was a 3-year regular in the line for Minnesota and a teammate of Bobby Bell, formerly with the Kansas City Chiefs. A hard hitter and ferocious tackler.
