An All-American at Michigan State where he broke nearly all career receiving records, Gene also starred in track, winning six Big-Ten hurdles titles. Drafted on the first round by the Vikings in 1967, he emerged in 1968 as one of the top deep receivers in the NFL. He has excellent speed, good hands and has responded very well to the challenge of being a starter.

Bill led the Vikings in rushing and was 4th in the NFL. He had 829 yards on 251 carries and 6 TDs. He added 359 yards gained on 37 catches. He is called "Boom Boom" by the players because of his hard running.

Carl Eller
A participant in 6 Pro Bowl Games, Carl has been selected for All-Pro recognition 6 times. The winner of the George Halas Award in 1971 as the NFL's Best Defensive Player, he caused 6 opponents' fumbles during the 1974 season. Carl was an All-American at Minnesota where he was a two-way starter. He was a 3-year regular in the line for Minnesota and a teammate of Bobby Bell, formerly with the Kansas City Chiefs. A hard hitter and ferocious tackler.
