Name that player!

Rates with Center Don Paul as oldest in point of service to Rams having played seven seasons after coming up from U. C. L. A. in 1948. Holds two all-time N. F. L. records-most passes caught in one game (18 vs. Green Bay, 1950) and most passes caught in one season (84 in 1950). Attended Manual Arts High in Los Angeles. Lettered at Santa Clara, 1941-42 and U. C. L. A., 1946-47, All Pacific Coast with Bruins both seasons, but was noted largely for ability as a defensive end. Rams' 11th draft choice in 1945.



Anyone who knows Youngblood's name knows the legend of him playing the 1979 playoffs with a broken leg. But Youngblood was not just tough, he was productive. He recorded two sacks, including one for a safety, in his team's two-point win at New Orleans in week 16 of the 1983 season to help secure a wild-card berth.



It's not all razzle-dazzle for wide receivers in Los Angeles high-powered offense. The Rams also ask the unit to throw blocks on the edges. a task Kupp is more than willing to perform "It's just as important as anything else we do," he said. The blue-collar attitude makes Kupp a fan favorite.

Led the National Football League in pass receiving in 1948 and 1949. Broke Don Hutson's completion record with 77 for 1,013 yards and 9 touchdowns. Played end for University of Santa Clara and UCLA. Rose Bowl, 1946. East-West and College All-Star games, 1947. All-America, 1947. Served 3 years as 1st lieutenant, Army Air Forces.
