Name that player!

One of the fastest moving ends in the game, Dave was the Lions' No. 1 receiver last season. He can fake pass defenders out of plays with ease. Once he's in the clear he's impossible to catch.

Last year was John's third straight year as an all-pro and a member of the West's Pro Bowl Team. He is one of the league's finest offensive guards. He does an exceptional job as a pass protector and in leading wide running plays.

Finished 1950 with an average gain per pass of 6.92, 7th in standings. Attempted 336 passes (high for 1950) and completed 152 for a yardage of 2,325. Ranked 6th in passing in 1949. Has played for Bears and Bulldogs. When at University of Texas, sparked Longhorns to Southwest Conference titles (1944, 1946) and wins in Cotton Bowl (1946), Sugar Bowl (1948). Starred in baseball.
