Green Bay's first draft choice in 1961, Herb turned out to be an excellent selection. The athlete has turned into one of the best defensive backs in professional football. Herb holds an NFL record, having scored six TDs on interceptions.



In 1966, Bob swiped five passes for 142 yards and averaged 28.4 yards per theft. The next season, Bob was an unanimous All-Pro selection as he turned out to be one of the best cornerbacks in the National Football League.



Fifth year in pro football. Joe played for Brooklyn in 1948. Traded to the Browns before the 1949 campaign opened. With the Packers in 1950 and 1951. Enrolled at Oklahoma A. and M. after discharge from the Army. Chosen as team captain during his senior year. Took part in the 1948 East-West game at San Francisco. Helps out in coaching at Oklahoma during the off-season, and works for a master's degree. Born in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, Aug. 15, 1923. Played tackle for three years on the Capitol Hill High School team in Oklahoma City. After high school came three years in the service.

The Packers started in 1919 as a team of former Green Bay High School players. In the 1920's a group of businessmen supported the team and were rewarded with 3 straight Championships. The greatest glory for the Packers began when Don Hutson joined the team in 1935.
