Bob had a string of 39 consecutive Free Throws without a miss last season. The ABA's third leading shooter from the charity stripe with a mark of .861 in 1972-73, he started the campaign with the Cougars, moved on to the Chaparrals and then came over to the Stars.



Made 2nd Team ABA All-Defensive Squad twice. Led Stars in rebounding for 1973-74 season.



Merv made University of Utah starting lineup as a sophomore. He was an important cog on fine Redskin team which made NCAA finals. Merv led Western Athletic Conference in scoring as a junior and as a senior.
