Pelicans Card of the Day

Jonas Valanciunas
Valanciunas is one of the best big men in today's game thanks to his ability to adapt. As the years have gone on, the Lithuanian has continued to expand his bag and has added a respectable 3-point jumper. He entered 2023-24 coming off a season where he made 34 triples, the second most in his career.

Name that player!

Ingram is tough to get a handle on, and when opponents do get a literal hand on him, he just turns that contact into points at the stripe. In 2020-21, the slippery forward matched his personal high with a 23.8 scoring clip while also setting a personal best with an 87.8 shooting percentage from the foul line.

Splitting his time between Sacramento and New Orleans, Cousins split apart defenses to the tune of a career-high 27.0 points in 2016-17. In his first game against his old club, the center clobbered the Kings for 37 points - including a career-high-tying five 3-pointers - and 13 rebounds on March 31.

With a revamped roster, the Pelicans expect Miller to continue to improve his game with hopes that he can provide a spark for the young New Orleans squad. The final player taken in the 2012 NBA Draft, Miller fine-tuned his game against tough competition in Las Vegas Summer League action in 2013.

Back to the Front! Pelicans card back du jour...

Nickeil Alexander-Walker
Defenders' heads are left twirling on a swivel when Alexander-Walker kicks his game into high gear, tricking foes with a playbook full of mind-bending moves. The laws of physics don't apply as New Orleans newest addition keeps the rock on a yo-yo, spins one way when an opponent leans the other and makes the impossible seem routine.
