Second draft pick in franchise history...Led Magic in field goal percentage for second consecutive year in 1991...Pulled down season-high 13 rebounds against Denver 12/30/90...Finished collegiate career as Alabama's all-time leading scorer (1,749) and rebounder (986)...Nicknamed "Baby Face."



Drafted in first round, 22nd pick, by Milwaukee in 1986... Traded to Indiana in 1987... Finished as leading scorer in Michigan State history with 2,145 points.



"Penny" enjoyed a truly dynamic rookie season...One of only two rookies to start all 82 games (Nick Van Exel was the other)...Finished 37th in the NBA in scoring (15.9 ppg, fourth among rookies), 16th in assists (6.6 apg, first among rookies) and sixth in steals (2.3 spg, first among rookies)... Voted NBA Rookie of the Month for January and finished a close second behind Chris Webber for 1994 Rookie of the Year...Shattered the Magic single-season record of 128 steals in a season set by Nick Anderson in 1992-93...Against New Jersey 12/23/93, scored 31 points, grabbed nine rebounds, handed out seven assists, had four steals and blocked three shots...Named MVP of the Rookie Game during the 1994 NBA All-Star Weekend after a 22-minute, 22-point, three-assist performance for the Sensations.
