Name that player!

The hunger to succeed is personified in New Jersey's Drazen Petrovic, and when success arrives, he is among the first to celebrate. Petrovic had plenty to pump his fist about in the first half of 1992-93 as his league-leading .472 three-point field goal percentage helped the Nets improve by nine games over their record at the 1992 NBA All-Star break.

The stacked Nets suddenly found themselves shorthanded in the 2021 Eastern Conference semis against the Bucks. That didn't faze Durant. Picking up the slack and pouring it on even more, he produced 35.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists during the seven-game set. He brought home a win in Game 5 with a stunning 49-point triple-double.

Was MVP of 1966 NIT for Villanova. Won ABA assist title 3 straight years.

Back to the Front! Nets card back du jour...

Jason Kidd
Coach Byron Scott was blown away by Jason in '01-02, even invoking the name Magic Johnson: "I've been making that comparison for a long time. Jason Kidd is the second coming of him, only a shorter version... He uplifts his teammates just like Magic."
