Nets Card of the Day

Jason Kidd
Coach Byron Scott was blown away by Jason in '01-02, even invoking the name Magic Johnson: "I've been making that comparison for a long time. Jason Kidd is the second coming of him, only a shorter version... He uplifts his teammates just like Magic."

Name that player!

Regarded by many as the best athlete in the Pac-10, Adams is an explosive high-riser blessed with a 40-plus inch vertical leap which allows him to outrebound bigger opponents. The former Arizona star is the only player in Pac-10 history to record 1,800 points, 700 rebounds and 200 steals. Look for many more highlights from "Hot Sauce" during his 2006-07 NBA debut.

Originally founded in 1967, the Nets franchise has a long history filled with longtime fans. Now, Whitehead gets to experience it for himself. "I encountered a lot of people who said they've been Nets fans for over 20-plus years," he said. "That's a great feeling when you know you got a strong fan base behind you like that."

Identifying chemistry on and off the hardwood, Walker signed with the Nets in 2023. "Off the court, we have similar outlooks on life, and on the court we play very well," he said. "Our chemistry as far as growth and becoming a very special team is going to be something really nice."
