One of the NBA's most improved big men, Schrempf was Indiana's leading rebounder with eight a game and third leading scorer with 16.1 ppg. A former soccer star and exchange student from West Germany, Schrempf, always known for his all-around athletic abilities, has become the league's most feared weapon off the bench.
Although he is sometimes an overlooked element in the Pacers' formula, Jackson changes the flow of a game each time he checks in. His speed gets him to the line where he uses his unique freethrow style to cash in.
One of the ABA's finest rookies of the 1972-73 season, Don was the talk of the Pacers' pre-season camp. He plays a solid brand of basketball, he plays like a veteran at his young age. Don takes only good percentage shots, he moves the ball extremely well, plays excellent defense and seems to have the knack of always coming up with the loose ball. Don has an extremely quick pair of hands.
