Mavericks Card of the Day

Maurice Ager
Only three other players in the history of Michigan State basketball have made more three-pointers than Ager (202). The explosive shooting guard is an all-around offensive talent, capable of slashing to the rim and creating his own shot. Ager was named All-Big Ten Second Team in both his junior and senior seasons.

Name that player!

Seven is a lucky number. Gafford put together a string of sevens in 2023-24. His weren't lucky, though. They were pure skill. Playing for the Wizards, he went 7-for-7 from the floor vs. Phoenix on Feb. 4. Running wild with the Mavs the following month, he shot 7-for-7 vs. Indiana on March 5 and did it again at Detroit on March 9.

When you first start tending to a garden, make sure to use a good fertilizer to help your fruits and veggies grow strong. Dallas took a page from the gardener's handbook when it planted Hardy into the lineup in 2022-23. He gives his team plenty of necessary sustenance to help the Mavs shoot up with speed.

Porzingis started the scoring for Dallas by draining a 3 a minute and a half in against New Orleans on Feb. 12, 2021. By the time the final whistle blew, the team and the player both had new highs for treys in a game. The Mavs topped their old mark of 24 by hitting 25 in the 143-130 win. The forward topped his old mark of seven by sinking eight.
