The Rockets didn't have to decide between offense and defense when drafting Thompson. Arguably the best two-way prospect in the 2023 draft, the Overtime Elite product is a playmaking forward who feasts on mismatches and puts constant pressure on ball-handlers. He should be a force on both ends in H-Town.
In 1991-92, Bullard showed surprising shooting range for a big man. He connected on 64 of 166 three-point shots, the second-highest total on the Rockets. Bullard was an important part of the Rockets bench, which the team went to often; three reserves, including Bullard, appeared in 80 or more games for Houston.
After spot duty as an LA rookie and an injury curtailed soph season, John started earning his pay in earnest the first full chance he could. No. 3 man in SD's offense with 15.3 average and 703 rebounds last season.
