Millions pick up the game of basketball in hopes of one day being the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft. In 2019, the ultra-competitive Young turned her goal into reality, as she beat out a host of the world's best hoopers on her way to being selected first overall by the Aces.



With stars like A'ja Wilson, Liz Cambage and Kayla McBride, the Aces regularly roll out one of the toughest starting lineups in the WNBA Things don't get any easier for the opponent when facing the second unit. A key piece off the Las Vegas bench, Young provides a boost with her rebounding and defense.



An international star, Rupert chose to play in the EuroLeague Women after she graduated from high school. In 2019-20, she reaped the benefits of her decision, earning the league's Young Player of the Year award. With her reputation soaring, the forward took her game stateside and joined Las Vegas.

McCoughtry spent part of the 2021 offseason pushing the women's game forward in Senegal. "I worked with the NBA Academy," she said. "I met some of the kids. It's a program called SEED, where they help kids come play over in college in the States. I always wanted to go to Africa, it's an amazing experience.
