Sheryl, whose Texas Tech jersey #22 was retired in '94, holds the record for points scored (47) in a NCAA championship game. One of the brightest stars of the WNBA, she is spending her inagmural season with the Comets on the injured reserve list - her first child, Jordan Eric Jackson was born on June 25, 1997.



Valdemoro Amaya has been a member of Spain's National team since 1993 and played six pro seasons in her homeland before joining the Comets in 1998.



Born in Sao Paulo, Janeth has been named the MVP of the Brazilian League all seven years that she has played professionally and was the leading scorer of the league in 1995 and 1996. As a teenager, she was the club league MVP from 1986-89.
