In 1966, Jack led both leagues with 26 saves and was named "Fireman of the Year." He began as an outfielder.
Mike spent the first six seasons of his career in organized baseball playing for the Philadelphia Phillies farm clubs. Purchased by the Tigers' chain in 1966, Mike, who had been a shortstop till then, was converted to the mount. He hit .304 at Magic Valley.
The Pilots selected a jack-of-all-trades when they drafted Chico from the Indians' roster. Chico is at home in the infield & the outfield.
