In his first 19 games at Arkansas, he slashed .319/.420/.536 with four roundtrippers. He also walked nearly as many times (10) as he struck out (16). He's a key building block for the Mariners.

Emerson's first strikeout victim was San Diego star Fernando Tatis Jr. The sixth overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft pitched in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game in 2021 and 2022.



Jorge made the move to Seattle in 2024 after a decade of excellence in Minnesota. He provided the same quality production for the Mariners, recording a 12.5% BB rate with five HRS in his first 41 games.
