Name that player!

Ferris Roy Fain is nicknamed "Burrhead" due to his kinky head of hair. Tied major league record for first basemen by completing six double plays in one game, September 1, 1947. Established major league record by participating in 194 double plays, 1949. Named as "Top Player" in the American League, 1951. Held A.L. batting championships '51 (.344) and '52 (.327). Also led A.L. in doubles in '52 (43). Elected to A.L. All-Star team in '51 and '52 batting .333 in each game.



A .309 average was smacked out in 1950 by the right-handed Chicago White Sox third baseman who stands 5'9".



"Chico" was an outstanding rookie of the American League in 1950 - his second year in organized baseball. Batted .282 in 141 games and numbered 21 doubles among his 148 hits. Also fielded well. Kept out of action toward end of season by a leg injury. Chico's first year in O.B. was with Fort Worth of the Texas League. There he hit .315 in 128 games, batting in 69 runs.

Tommie Agee, Marv Staehle
After three shots with the Indians, Tommy came up to the Sox late in 1965. The outfielder slugged 20 home runs at Portland. The young second baseman batted .301 for Clinton in 1961, his second year in pro ball. In the Sally League, Marv hit .337.
