The 1986 Topps Traded Baseball set - a faded crown jewel?
1975 Topps Set (Baseball)
Set Notes
Excerpt
The 1975 Topps set consists of 660 standard sized cards. The design was radically different in appearance from sets of the preceding years. The most prominent change was the use of a two-color frame surrounding the picture area rather than a single, subdued color. A facsimile autograph appears on the picture, and the backs are printed in red and green on grey. Cards were released in ten-card wax packs, 18-card cello packs as well as in 42-card rack packs. The cello packs were issued 24 to a box. Cards 189-212 depict the MVP's of both leagues from 1951 through 1974.

Subsets include Record Breakers (1-7), Turn Back The Clock (311-315), All-Star selections (595-616), and Team Leaders (scattered throughout the set). The manager cards contain a team checklist on back.
