The Canucks' top scorer for '92-93, Bure started the '93-94 season off on the right foot, scoring the first goal of the season for Vancouver in a 5-3 win over Kings. He had two goals and an assist in the season opener.
Minnesota's 11th choice, 196th overall, in 1989 entry draft. Irbe snapped a 13-game losing streak for the Sharks with wins in his first two starts (Nov. 8-9, 1991). That same season with Kansas City he won the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the IHL's top goaltender. Irbe was named the Soviet National League Rookie-of-the-Year in 1988.

Primeau's game, like many young power player's, may need some more refining on the farm, but it shouldn't be too long before he is busting down a slot and setting up in the crease of an NHL team in a town near you.
